WHO IS WEWOTION

We are a multi-disciplinary studio providing full service from video production, direction, edition, VFX and motion graphics to our clients. We have a passion for the audiovisual world, always keeping ahead of the latest technological advances in publicity, cinema and television. Our clients Space Ape, Planeta, MRM McCann, Carat, Tango Agency, El Play, Ginger, Landia, Free your mind, Pop in Group, Yellow, Yslandia, Tridea… praise our ability to maintain schedule, budget, and quality of work.

We also directed and produced Short films like «Equals» (2019), «La Perrera» (2018), «Mighty Boy» (2013),«Amor Sacro» (2011) or «A través del ocaso» (2009) that were selected in more than 400 festival and won more than 70 prices.

Our last short film «Ratón de Biblioteca» (2023) has recieved more than 100 festival selections including Screamfest LA and Fantastic Fest and has won over 25 prices.

Javier Yáñez Sanz

CEO

Javier Yañez (1982 Madrid, Spain) began his career as a visual effects editor for several main Spanish News Channels (“Canal +”, “La Sexta” and “Cuatro”). Soon he started directing music videos and well-known advertisements campaigns. He did the VFX of the short film “That wasn’t me”, winner of the Spanish Film Awards “The Goyas”, for Best Short Fiction in 2013 and nominated for “The Oscars” that same year. The high demand in the VFX industry made him start “Wewotion”, his own production company. He is an international awarded Director and Producer of his own short films.

Víctor Martín Léon

Head of Production

If you need a budget and a job well done he’s the one you should contact. Production Coordinator for Wewotion for the last 5 years, he also teaches Music Video Production at Instituto del Cine Madrid and has produced Branded Content, Documentaries, Short films & commercials for brands like Schweppes, Paramount Channel, Fox, Ikea or El Pais.

Daniel Batista

3D Generalist with specialized training in Motion Graphics. He has knowledge of a wide variety of programs such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Unity, Unreal and the Adobe pack. Creative worker used to solve problems and with a great facility to work in a team and coordinate work groups.

Laura Mendoza

Junior Motion Graphics Designer in constant training specialized in the 3D area. She has almost two years of experience in the field. Characterized by her friendliness, good teamwork and her great capacity for learning and continuous training. Currently, she is mainly dedicated to 3D with Blender and to the training of more staff in the 3D area, being our main Cinema 4d Specialist.

Víctor López

Motion Grapher and graphic designer interested in plastic arts, conceptual illustration and branding design. With a great eye for narrative editing & 2d animation. Currently learning blender to add new techniques to his projects. He drew all these great team portraits you can see here.

Usue Fresno

Video editor passionate about post-production, with a background in Fine Arts and Photography. She combines her artistic and technical skills in her audiovisual projects that leads her to participate, and win, video contests and create great engaging social media content.

Álvaro Quinto

Video Editor and Motion Graphics Artist for clients such as Space Ape, Editorial Planeta, and various advertising agencies. He loves video art, experimental video and animation from traditional to underground. For the last couple of years in Wewotion he’s been learning Unreal Engine, Unity and Blender introducing himself to 3D animation. He is currently researching for a PhD in Audiovisual Communication at the Complutense University of Madrid.

Naty Miyashiro

Graduated in Audiovisual Design (University of Buenos Aires) and Technical FX (Primer Escuela de Efectos Especiales, Buenos Aires) She has experience in Motion Graphics and Editing having worked for TV networks such as Disney Latin American Channel, Fox Latin American Channels, Ideas del Sur Argentina. A very organized and resolutive editor, she’s great with big projects that require some extra thinking.
