WHO IS WEWOTION

– Filmed, directed and produced the third best Youtube campaign of 2015 in Spain with the video clip «Marcamos las Normas».
– VFX in the short film «That wasn’t me», winner of the Goyas of Best Short Fiction in 2013 and nominated for the Oscars that same year.
– Shooting, direction and production of the short film «Mighty Boy» (2013), the first official adaptation of Japanese manga in Spain. Winner of the International Festival of Fantastic and Horror Cinema of Avilés, among other prizes.
– Shooting, direction and production of the short film“Amor Sacro” (2011): winner of the Audience Award for Best Short Film at the Malaga Fantastic Film Festival and Festival Shots.
– Shooting, direction and production of the short film “A través del ocaso” (2009): selected in more than 20 festivals and winner of the awards:

– Best special effects and best post-production at South Africa’s «Horrorfest» festival.
– Premio Pere Garcia Plensa. Winner for the Best Short Film at the «Sants Fantasy and Horror Film Festival».
– Best Short Film Award at the «Malaga Fantastic Film Festival».
– Special Mention to the Best Special Effects at the Tapiales Film Festival (Argentina).

Javier Yáñez

CEO Director / Postproductor / VFX Specialist

Javier Yañez (1982 Madrid, Spain) began his career as a visual effect editor for several main Spanish News Channels (“Canal +”, “La Sexta” and “Cuatro”). Soon he started directing music videos and well-known advertisements campaigns. He did the VFX of the short film “That wasn’t me”, winner of the Spanish Film Awards “The Goyas”, for Best Short Fiction in 2013 and nominated for “The Oscars” that same year. His high demand in the VFX industry, made him start “Wewotion”, his own production company. He is an international awarded Director and Producer of his own short films; “Mighty Boy” (2013), “Amor Sacro” (2011) and “A través del ocaso” (2009). His last work as a Director is the visual poem “La Perrera”, written by the poet from Los Angeles, Xochitl-Julisa Bermejo. - more info

Jaime Núñez

Creative Director

All-terrain creative with 17 years of experience and an inexhaustible passion for creating new ways to connect brands and people. Has worked globally in "Top 10" agencies in Los Angeles (TBWA / Chiat / Day), New York (BBDO), Amsterdam (AKQA, Tribal DDB) and London (POKE, Mullen Lowe, Razorfish, M & C Saatchi ...) for brands such as ADIDAS, British Airways, Mini, Universal and Coca Cola. He has been recognized with 20 creativity awards during his career. He was the coordinator of the Digital Creative Business Master at the European Design Institute of Barcelona and is currently a mentor at the School of Communications Arts in London.

Jaime is responsible at Wewotion to ensure the cohesion and creative excellence between London and Madrid, while directing and coordinating (
The Creative Hub / Fast-Track / Concept Lab): A space in Wewotion dedicated to conceptualization and experimentation technology for those clients who wish to discover innovative ways to tell stories about their brand.

Berta Álvarez

Editor and postprodutor with Adobe After Effects

Graduated in Audiovisual Communication (Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca). I have experience in art direction, editing, and postproduction. I have worked for agencies such as Tango, DF Producciones or Designit making videos, cases and models for brands such as Coca-Cola, Heineken, Ubisoft, Carrefour, Desperados, Openbank, Sephora or Seguritecnia. I am currently part of Wewotion.

César Monzón

Postproductor with Adobe After Effects and camera operator

Senior Technician in realization, motion graphics operator and video editor. I have worked in the world of authorship of DVD and Blu Ray in terms of composition, design, animation and creation of Motion Graphics in more than 1000 projects for clients such as Tripictures, Sony Music, EMI music, Vertigo Films, Warner, Divisa ... I have also worked as a camera operator in events, concerts and castings. During the last years I have worked making videos, models and cases for agencies, transmedia and film production companies like Tango, Shackleton, Free Your Mind, Landia and TF7. I am currently part of Wewotion.

Víctor Martín Léon

Head of Production

Producer of Branded Content such as the short films "Por Un Beso" or " No Place Like Home", the web series "Háztelo Mirar", " Desalmados" or "Ese Lugar Especial" & commercials for brands like Schweppes, Paramount Channel, Fox, Ikea or El Pais. This last year I have been involved in the production of series like "Terror y Feria" for Atresmedia or short films like "Allan Ellen", "Equals", Malnacido" or "Estigma". I'm always looking for another solution & I'm empathetic in my approach to producing. I'll probably be your first contact with Wewotion.
